Participants in our Senior Day Program on the Eastside, which serves Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking older adults, held an appreciation event for Lyudmila, who will be leaving CISC after 7 years of service.
Mila has been with the program from day one when it launched in 2019 and is now operating in Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond. Flowers, cake, and warm hugs showed how much the community appreciates Mila's heart and passion for creating connections and improving well-being for older adults. Thank you, Mila!!!

With guidance from an in-home nurse consultant and support from our volunteers, participants learned practical tips to reduce the risk of choking and avoid food pocketing during meals.
