Circular Monday began in Sweden in 2017 as a counter-movement to Black Friday, founded by Henning Gillberg through Repamera.
Today, it has grown into the world’s largest campaign for circular consumption - championing repair, reuse, rental, refill and the shift away from linear overconsumption.

#circularmonday 2025 have officially wrapped, and I’m sitting with so much gratitude, proudness and in a complete awe 🥹 I am extremely moved by the collaboration and success of the campaign, we broke records and hard work pays off yes, but… I am mostly so touched my this community and people and businesses coming together to create awareness and spread the word about circularity 💚
To every buddy, spokesperson, partner, business, volunteer, friend and stranger who showed up, you made this year’s campaign what it became.
Across the globe, you pushed circularity forward in a way that is impossible to ignore.
