Analog inspiration series — where I take inspiration from one place and translate it into another.
This time I was browsing Ruben Acosta’s Tours, Volcanos and Lentejas, where the volcanic textures of Lanzarote met my own visual curiosity. Fascinating how nature composes its own colour combinations.
My analog reading of Lanzarote: volcanic surfaces, book fragments, and the pallet of natural colour combinations.
I went for items made of natural fibres and focused on texture as much as colour. Inspiration can lead you anywhere, it doesn’t have to stay within what you initially notice, even though in my case, it often begins there. With color.
