CircuitRunners FTC 1002 (SURGE) and FTC 11347 (BLACKOUT) both had an amazing performance at the 2026 FIRST Championships in Houston! FTC 1002 joined Alliance 3 with FTC 17861 CSH and FTC 16917 Gear Wizards, playing strong all the way to match 13 of divisional playoffs. FTC 1002 also won second place for the Innovate award! It was an incredible DECODE season for CircuitRunners, and we can’t wait for next year!

FRC 1002, the Wheeler High School @circuitrunners , had an incredible run at this year’s FIRST AGE World Championships, truly turning our potential into kinetic results! We joined Johnson Division Alliance 5 with FRC 190, @robonauts118 , and @badgerbots1306 , staying strong all the way until match 13 of divisional playoffs. Our CircuitRunners had an amazing time interacting with the FIRST community, from casual lunch breaks to exciting RoboProm! The FIRST REBUILT season has been one of the most phenomenal in CircuitRunners history. Our FRC 1002 team recently competed in District Championships! We were Alliance 2 captains with teammates @team_6919 and @flying_legion_robotics_3635 , finalists at the event, and ranked 3! We were also recipients of the Judges’ Award! FRC 1002 officially qualified for WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, meaning that ALL 3 of our teams are headed to Houston!!! We are so proud of all of the progress our teams have made and are looking forwards to Worlds!! Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, and mentors who helped make this possible! Our FTC teams have already qualified for worlds — FTC 11347 won 1st place Inspire at states and FTC 1002 won second place inspire and made playoffs!! The inspire awards is FTC’s highest honor and is rewarded to a team that exemplifies excellence in robot design, innovation, teamwork, outreach, and embodies the core values of FIRST.
Our FRC team 1002 has won BOTH of their district qualification competitions — something that has never been done before in CircuitRunners history. They’ve also won Multiple awards this season. One of them is the Excellence in engineering award, which honors a team that demonstrates outstanding engineering design, innovation, and a professional approach to building a high-quality robot. The second one is the Autonomous award which recognizes a team whose robot demonstrates exceptional, consistent, and innovative performance during the autonomous (pre-programmed) period of matches. FRC 1002 has qualified for state championships and is competing this week, with a very strong chance of making world championships!!

Last Wednesday, CircuitRunners had so much fun participating in Wheeler’s STEAM symposium!! We had a great time talking about our program and demonstrating our robots to all the elementary students who visited us!! We hope everyone enjoyed our showcase!

CircuitRunners FRC 1002 did a phenomenal job at this year’s Peachtree District Albany Event!! Our FRC team was Alliance two captain along with teams 6919 and 6905, and we went on the win the whole event!! We also won the Autonomous award which is given to teams with the most consistent, reliable, and high-performance robot operation during the autonomous period. It highlights excellence in sensing, positioning, and task execution without human control. Winning robots typically demonstrate advanced, reliable routines and effective sensor integration.
Our team made CircuitRunners history this year by winning BOTH of the qualification events we participated in and bringing home TWO blue banners!! We are currently ranked 2 in Georgia!! We are so proud of our accomplishments and are looking forwards to the rest of the season. Thank you so much to everyone who made this happen!
