✨️ Morning Brabant ✨ Before we announce the first projects of the festival… a little clarification: Cirque du Platzak is not coming back as the old show. That chaos, magic and glitter belonged to another era ❤️ Instead of rebuilding the past, we decided to create something new: ........................... A Festival!!! ............................. A gathering, a space to share with you the new projects born from the former members of the company. Different forms. Same spirit. Circus, music, performance, friendship and beautiful madness 🎪✨ And now… our first glimpse of the program of Platzak Festival: 🎭 **Platzak Kids Cabaret** 🎭 A cabaret created by the new generation of Platzak. Fresh energy, unexpected acts, young madness and the same rebellious spirit that made the company what it was. A new wave is arriving ✨ 🤹 **Duo Viva La Vita** presented by Circ Rodini 🤹 She is Katusha. He is Bepo. Together they have survived countless adventures, disasters and questionable ideas — and somehow they keep coming back for more ✨ With their new show, they dive into the world of the traditional clown: music, acrobatics, chaos… and many bad ideas. ✨️Good morning Brabant ✨ Do you remember Cirque du Platzak? ☄️A comet in Brabant’s sky. Born underground, it grew like a magical beanstalk between 2010 and 2018 — through dreams,tears, love, sweat… and glitter. Nevertheless, almost ten years after our last show, we’re all still very much alive. Some of us gained a little weight, some dropped bad habits… others picked up new ones. Some even had kids. But one thing never changed: we never stopped dreaming. Or creating. So here we are — ready to reunite. A playground. A celebration of 19 years of friendship and passion for live performance. 𝐖𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐚𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐣𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 Tot aan 14 september vertellen we je via onze socials graag over alle voostellingen die jullie kunnen gaan bewonderen op onze 35e en extra feestelijke editie. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 | 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐢 In deze openluchtproductie duikt Katleen dieper in het ‘circus van vroeger’. Ze herontdekt vergeten handstandtechnieken en blaast ze nieuw leven in met een frisse wind. The Amazing Katleen brengt een ode aan het traditionele circus door zich te richten op de positie van de vrouw, de moeder. Ze is heel sterk in haar armen, maar toont tegelijk de menselijke en kwetsbare kant van het soms zwak zijn. 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 Het duo “Sweet Tones” zal zondag 14 september Rondje den Berg op een swingende manier afsluisten. Je vindt ze op ons circustterras. Wilma Sweere-Van Tilburg (zang) en Frans Welschen (gitaar/zang) beschikken over een uiteenlopend repertoire van vlotte vrolijke liedjes tot mooie luisterliedjes. Een greep daaruit: Jolene (Dolly Parton), Valarie (Amy Winehouse), That man (Caro Emerald) en nog veel meer …...
