Circle Coffee

We started as some kids with a coffee cart outside a laundromat with a dream of making Topeka a better place. Three years ago we plugged our cart into the wall at Dairy Queen, asked them if we could borrow some ice, and told each other that if the neighborhood showed up, we’d come back the next day. They showed up, and haven’t stopped showing up. A lot has changed, but our dream hasn’t.

To everyone who helped us get here, today is for you. Circle Coffee is now serving the neighborhood.

Mission statements can be kind of lame, but we think they matter. In fact, we think everything we do matters. A big reason why we opened the shop is because we were tired of going into other places and getting treated like an inconvenience. It’s not an accident that we hired a team that cares about what they do and cares about your experience here. Our work matters and caring about people is worth it. We love this city and will always strive to bring excellence to our community through kindness and creativity.

May Day is the perfect opportunity to drop in on your neighbors and bless them with a small act of kindness. It’s a beautiful and ordinary thing that isn’t as commonly celebrated anymore, but fits perfectly with what we hope to live out in our shop every day. We are so thankful for our neighbors 💐♥️

Our spring pastry menu is in full bloom 🌸 𝙑𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙚 (𝙂𝙁) We’ve worked hard to change the narrative about a dry, tasteless scone and feel like we have achieved it with this tender crumb. If you’re feeling fancy shmancy, grab some of our housemade orange & olive oil marmalade to accompany it.  𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙬 𝙏𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙞𝙚 (𝙂𝙁/𝙑) Our popular allergy friendly fudge brownie topped with a salty house toffee makes a comeback!  𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙇𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙠𝙚 (𝙂𝙁/𝘿𝙁) The cider donut bars were such a hit that we decided to create a spring version and dunk it in a lemon lavender sugar.  𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙢 𝙈𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙣 (𝙂𝙁/𝘿𝙁) Who doesn’t love a classic? Ours is made brighter with the floral spice, cardamom. 𝙐𝙗𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙞 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝙎𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙠 (𝙂𝙁/𝘿𝙁) We turned our ube latte (RIP) into naturally dyed glaze and drizzled it over our chewy mochi donut for a delightful spring treat. (Wed-Sat Only) 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙪𝙩 (𝙑) Our vegan challah dough, fried and dunked in a house strawberry milk glaze, then topped with a fruity mix of cereal, milk powder and freeze dried mango. (Wed-Sat Only) 𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙪 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩 A classic that never gets old. Our house laminated dough gets wrapped around Callebaut chocolate and topped with a touch of Maldon salt. 𝙎𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙮 𝙆𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚 Our house brioche dough is nestled around a comforting sausage gravy, topped with a cheese and finished with a dried shallot house seasoning blend.

Not going to beat around the bush here, it’s the best thing you’ve ever tasted. 𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 Shrub soda with raspberry, rose and coconut. Top with matcha for a party. 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗽 MARCH ONLY - the undefeated combo of cereal milk + spro makes a return. Murmurs on the street of some folks using matcha?! 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 Fresh blueberries, maple, sea salt. Hot or iced with spro or matcha. Worth breaking in for. 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗲 We’ve got a lovely floral lemonade on tap made with lavender and yuzu juice. We also used a dye-free magic wand to make it purple. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶 Choccy chai topped with cherry blossom cold foam!!
