Volunteers, Sue and Dave have been having a lovely time out and about with little Misty, a sweet Dachshund who’s always ready for an adventure.
On one of their recent trips, Misty became very interested in two rather large locals enjoying fish and chips on a bench… although we’re not entirely sure if she clocked that they were statues!

This Sunday, we have a sweet little snippet of Forever Foster, William enjoying a stroll with his foster mum, Christine. William is deaf and can’t see very well, so he always stays close to Christine when they’re out walking.
William recently celebrated his 16th birthday and went on holiday with Christine and Tony to celebrate his special day. What a lucky pup! 🥰🎈
Thank you to Christine and Tony for being wonderful Forever Foster parents and for giving William a life full of love and adventures. 🧡

Happy 100th Birthday to Sir David Attenborough, a true national treasure. 🎂🧡
Sir David has spent decades helping us see the natural world with fresh eyes, bringing us closer to wildlife and quietly reminding us why it matters. Through his work, generations have come to care more deeply about animals and nature. This is something we hold very close at The Cinnamon Trust, where a love of animals in all shapes and sizes is central to everything we do.
To mark Sir David’s very special birthday, we have taken a little inspiration from his iconic storytelling and selected some photos of our own pets from across the decades out “in the wild”!
You might spot a few familiar companions striking their best wildlife poses who are more used to sofas than savannahs!

What a fantastic turn out with so many people and pooches taking part (not forgetting the beautiful cats and Uncle Albert the tortoise who also celebrated his 127th birthday!). It was a really special day and we're so grateful to our wonderful community of volunteers and supporters for being part of it.

Many of you will know Raj from our Spring newsletter and social media.
We are devasted to share the news that he has passed away at the incredible age of 20.
Raj was no ordinary companion. So full of character, affection and charm, he brought an abundance of joy to his human family, John and Alexander, and to everyone lucky enough to know him. He had a way of making every day brighter, and his presence will be deeply missed.
It was a real privilege for us to support Raj in his later years, with our wonderful volunteer Kirsty providing care and companionship that meant so much.
Our thoughts are with John, Alexander, Kirsty and all who loved Raj. Thank you for sharing him with us.
Sleep well, sweet Raj. 🧡

A big well done and thank you to all of our brilliant London Marathon runners - Holly, Justine, Jeanette, Amanda and Paula, who took on the 26.2 miles this weekend in support of The Cinnamon Trust.
They all did a fantastic job completing the race, with big smiles at the finish line all round. 😊
