Customer Install | Bury St Edmunds
A recent residential project saw an existing lounge reimagined into a more considered AV space, introducing a feature wall and hidden electronics while remaining sympathetic to the room’s softer, design-led aesthetic.
The client brief:
• A more dedicated AV environment without dominating the space
• Hidden electronics & minimal visual clutter
• A feature wall that complements existing textures and tones
• A solution that works seamlessly in warm, low evening lighting
The client wanted to enhance their viewing experience without losing the calm, minimal feel of the room. With soft grey fabrics, off-white tones and darker wood accents already in place, the challenge was integrating a large screen in a way that felt cohesive rather than intrusive.
Our solution centred around a custom fabric wall system using Cinema Build Systems track, paired with Camira Fabrics in a mid-grey micro-herringbone. This allowed us to soften the visual impact of the TV while discreetly managing cabling and infrastructure behind the surface.
To house the system, we specified a wall-mounted Clic TV65 cabinet, chosen for its compact form and lightness, providing discreet storage for all AV equipment while sitting comfortably beneath the screen without dominating the space.
Visually, the fabric wall plays a key role. By reducing contrast and aligning with the room’s existing palette, the installation feels integrated rather than applied, particularly in the evening, when the space is used most and lighting is subdued and warm.
From a performance and usability standpoint, the system delivers a clean, streamlined experience, with all equipment hidden from view yet fully accessible, allowing for future flexibility without compromising the current aesthetic.

Adding the fabric wall to our new office in our Scotland screen manufacturing facility.
We’ve used our Softslab 18 product to reduce reverberation within the office (makes for clearer conversations).
Then finshed with our Slate Grey Wäll acoustically transparent fabric.
To enhance the detail of the finish we have added our new Halo Trim (Brushed Gold) profiles, which we have fitted flush next to our 18mm Fabric Track.
The video also shows a good tip of using the flat edge of another section of 18mm track to set a 2mm expansion gap for the track meeting the ceiling 👌

Christmas Opening Times 🎅🏻
We will be closing on Friday 19th December for this years festive break.
Reopening on Monday 5th January.
Last shipments will leave us on Thursday the 18th December.
All custom order items ordered now will be for January delivery.
We currently have good stock levels of most Core products, but fabric levels are low.
Also the majority of our shipping partners are now quoting 2 - 3 day deliveries so for any urgent Pre Christmas orders best get them in soon 👍
