All three were deservedly nominated to this year Baftas, and we really urge you to seek them out. Saint Maud (2019) directed by Rose Glass. Babyteeth (2019) directed by Shannon Murphy. An outstanding, melancholic Australian film about young love and illness that will melt your heart. Available on Netflix . . . Rocks (2019) directed by Sarah Gavron. Another brilliant British debut, Rocks is undoubtedly one of the greatest surprise from last year. A film that feels incredibly authentic and down to earth. It’s moving, joyful and a great reminder of why we need friends in our life. The cast of young non-professional actors is just incredible.
