Wat een prachtige week op het Improteca - The Festival ...
Samen met Lieze, Dan, Ábel, Sophie Kneebone, Vlad Pasencu, Marco, Liron and of course Andrei en de hele crew en community van Improteca hebben we een geweldige tijd gehad.
Waarbij speelsheid, hartelijke (en luide) support en liefdevolle verbinding altijd aanwezig waren! Zowel op als naast het podium.
Dankjewel allemaal..

In 4 days @improteca_thefestival starts!!
@bratu.andrei.92 and me can't wait to play on the final night of the festival on Sunday!
Andrei, the founder of Improteca is the organiser of the festival of course! So busy busy busy... Facilitating whatever needs facilitation.
I will be teaching two workshops this (still some space there) and host the JAM on monday.
I will prepare (together with the Dutch pianist Marco van Duuren) a group of singing improvisers for a wonderful musical showcase on Friday evening: Trudy's Thriftshop (invented in a collaboration with Ralph Krumins)
And of course there is the Teachers Show on Sunday!
We will meet new and old friends from all over Europe!
It will be amazing!

Today we worked with Niharika Iyengar to improve our improv! That was insightful! Now we know we score a 8 and a 9 on the idea to open a improv theater in Nijmegen.
But first things first: play our show Kindred Souls at WhatIF Improv Festival!

Sven Lanser komt met zijn tientallen jaren impro ervaring om zijn lievelings' te spelen! Tarantino Unchained!

In de middag geeft hij een impro-workshop over de ins en outs van deze filmstijl. Denk aan klassiekers als Pulp Fiction en Reservoir Dogs!
Messcherpe dialogen, stropdassen en pistolen. Maar ook dreigende stiltes en langzame spanningsopbouw!

Based in the Netherlands, Cindy Pittens is an improviser and trainer with a lifelong background in theatre, improvising since 2010.
Many in the Improteca community already know Cindy from her previous visits and workshops here. Passionate about both human development and improv, she studied Playful Social Work, Theatre/Comedy, and Innovative Training. Her workshops focus on connection, authenticity, and exploring the human side of improvisation.

Op 21 maart om 20.30 spelen we onze avondvullende voorstelling Een dag met @demeneertjes . Waar je meegenomen wordt in een leven vol spontaniteit.
𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗷𝗲𝘀-𝗱𝗮𝗴
Wat maken De Meneertjes nou eigenlijk mee? Op een dag waarin alles geïmproviseerd wordt?
* Dat gaat van een gulle lach tot een bitterzoete traan.
* Van een goed avontuur tot dagelijks leed en liefde.
* En van het ophalen van herinneringen uit de kindertijd tot een kijkje in een volledig absurde toekomst.
Op een dag met De Meneertjes kan alles gebeuren.
