the world feels quieter today, pi. never thought i’d miss the constant ping of papi’s morning messages or those classic ‘dad videos’ on whatsapp. i used to dismiss them as unimportant, but now the silence is deafening. through every day and every night i carry on just missing you. i had no idea papi was such a duta persahabatan among his friends & family, i know you’re so happy to see the house was full. i treasure every last second we spent in the ICU even tho until now, the sound of ventilator and other medical machines still echoing on a loop inside my head like a broken tape. i stayed awake through the nights just to be with you pi, because my love for you outweighed my exhaustion. al-fatiha.
really appreciate to bang @adilsyahlify & @dikreatifa.studio preserving our last goodbye with papi, who has been there to document all our family milestones over the years. right now, looking back at those memories is what keeps me going.
This photo walk was last year but it still lingers.
We had been wanting to do a photo walk together for years and so glad it finally happened. Coincidentally, @ChannelNewsAsia approached us for a feature on Singapore Hours. One of the requirements was to organise a photo walk, which perfectly aligned with what had already been planned. The stars aligned right?
Here are some of the shots taken by the participants. We explored creative angles, played with perspective and experimented with different ideas.
