I must give Adam props as it was freezing that day but his fingers powered through. Sometimes it’s just about getting one light, and letting the artist and the environment take over. reflecting and realizing that sometimes I think to myself “I don’t do enough” and then when I scroll thru my photos I see that I’m doing back-to-back days in different states and cities a LOT and i did so many things this year. producing, directing, editing, scripting, set design, marketing, creative direction. I wrote a book. Worked on several documentaries. Several narrative pieces. Several ads. Helped launch businesses. Wrote a book??
My future is anything and everything I want it to be and the ONLY hard part is making time for it all. this year was a weird exercise in a hundred things. Doing my full time media job and finding time for side work in all the crevices and somehow still lovin on ppl. Making bffs with 2 year olds and making sure thru it all I can still be bffs with myself.
I have a dozen dreams and I have my whole life to make each of them come true.
Big, big love to all the beautiful friends I made and held this year. Big big love to the professionals I’m lucky to work alongside and laugh with and build with. Times can be so hard but they’re so much easier with a community you care about.
Here’s to more nonsense 2025 bring it on
