Congratulations to CIITzens Dwyne Justine Cañete, Patrick Ross Ocasion, Trisha Xyna Talavera, and Marie Ysabelle Baylon for Rinig, Kita, one of the Top BMMA Capstones for AY 2025–2026 Term 2.
Rinig, Kita is an audio-based game that helps visually impaired Filipino youth develop spatial awareness and confidence through sound. Using footsteps, echoes, chatter, and ambient cues, players learn to navigate urban environments without relying on visuals.
Built as a support tool for Orientation and Mobility (O&M) training, the game provides a safe space for practice through levels inspired by familiar Filipino public spaces. Each stage builds real-world skills through exploration, memory, and audio feedback.
Projects like this show how CIITzens use creativity and technology to solve real-world challenges, designing with purpose and impact in mind.
