Since 2018, 735,258 participants received support to take part in programs—through free registration, transportation, and other accessibility measures.
Removing barriers helps ensure more people can participate and benefit.
🌟 This week, we’re highlighting Listen To Dis' Community and Art Organization, a group dedicated to fostering creativity and connection through the arts.
Through community-driven programming, Listen to Dis provides opportunities for individuals to express themselves, share their stories, and engage with others in meaningful ways. Their work helps create inclusive spaces where diverse voices are heard and celebrated.
Arts organizations like Listen to Dis play an important role in strengthening communities—bringing people together, encouraging creativity, and inspiring new perspectives.

72% of CIF-funded programs focus on children and youth—supporting over 863,909 participants through learning, recreation, and wellbeing initiatives.
Investing early helps build confidence, skills, and lifelong wellbeing.
Healthy communities are active and supported.
CIF-funded programs have delivered over 8 million minutes of physical activity, along with 1.02 million meals and 1.18 million snacks.
These supports are helping individuals and families build healthier habits every day.

🌟 This week, we’re highlighting the Yorkton Indigenous Friendship Centre, part of a network of Friendship Centres dedicated to supporting urban Indigenous communities.
The Yorkton Indigenous Friendship Centre provides a welcoming space where individuals and families can access culturally relevant programs, services, and supports. From community programming and cultural activities to outreach and advocacy, they play an important role in fostering connection, wellness, and a sense of belonging.
Through their work, the Centre helps build stronger, more inclusive communities—creating opportunities for learning, cultural sharing, and meaningful relationships.
