“Motherhood is my greatest ministry” 🤍
This is my first Mother’s Day without my grandma who raised me, and I’ve caught myself feeling sad all week. I don’t think I’ll ever miss anyone the way I miss her. I feel so lucky to have known her love, strength, and spirit for so much of my life, especially while becoming a mom myself.
I hope I can show up for Wacey the way she showed up for her children and grandchildren. Unconditional, steady, and incredibly selfless.
Mother’s Day has never been an easy day for me since I never had a good relationship with my mom, but becoming Wacey’s mom has given the title “mother” an entirely new meaning for me. I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mommy.
