Revisiting my 2012 dragonsona
This was a dragon form of my main sona, Shado/Atmos, but I kinda see this thing as a separate entity but they’re like made of the same cloudstuff. It’s only on its back legs to do stuff like sitting/looking over and looking cute
This is exactly the art style my kid self imagined I would have 🙂🖼️

this song is SOOOO shaymin core. ever since I first heard it in 2010 while #shaymin was simultaneously becoming my favorite #pokemon I have connected the two.
Trance music and shaymin will forever be 🤝 to me. In 2010 my sona was a shaymin and it has been quite literally part of my soul for that long. I do not remember much before that year and I'm grateful I had pokemon to cling to while I was going through a rough time in my childhood. Sky shaymin is a figure of freedom in my mind, as someone who is an earth sign and longs to fly (I'm a pilot wannabe who is literally named after the sky)

Last time 3rd thing was the most popular. Which is really epic, so I have printed more…. During my distribution of the first batch I found the two other animals mentioned were rabbit and deer. It’s a beautiful thing to see what animals fellow trans and gnc people identify with. Different species act as genders themselves. I started with cats and dogs because those are the most common animals we embody, being domesticated alongside them.
Cats are reserved and independent. Observant. Dogs are hyper and obedient. They prefer others do the thinking for them.
Deer and bunnies represent introversion, gentleness, and they are notoriously “freeze” animals. I could psychoanalyze the behaviors that correlate with chosen species forever lol. I will keep adding to this series and eventually get them professionally printed and without my watermark 😼

I haven’t drawn Rino in ever so. Here he is! My kaijusona, he is basically the face of my furry brand. I LOVE this guy. Loosely based off of negora dolls with a more reptilian flare. I will have stickers of him in the og and 🏳️⚧️ palettes at @transcendent_la this Friday.

I originally designed this as an ambigram of yaoi/yuri, but after consulting some friends and worrying that it wasn’t readable I’ve just made two different versions.
My ocs are very androgynous and I find myself enjoying “yaoi that looks like yuri” (i.e. Gyro x Johnny, Bancoran x Mariach)
These guys are yaoi but y’know, whatever, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They’ll be your yuri if you want. Astorias (blond) is a masc man who presents fem (in an Ojou-sama way~) and is very dominant. I’ve coined it as Peacock Masculinity.

...about being painfully thick
THREE of my favorite pants have burst holes in the inner thighs this month. 😭 I was inspired to make this zine after posting the image of me in the leggings I sold on Mercari.
If this comes off as "my steak is too juicy my lobster is too buttery" lemme tell you it is NOT FUN gambling every time I buy pants (which have inconsistent sizing, are made for tall people, and have different sizes between calves/thighs/waist😮💨) I have had to overcome mountains of dysphoria and dysmorphia to get to the point where I'm okay with showing my bottom half.
It's hard to "pass" with this body, but that's something I've let go of years ago. I am grateful to have a partner obsessed with my shapes, I'm still working on accepting it myself.

Baby’s first risograph <3 printed at the LNY workshop at @risostudioarts last Friday! Next time I print I’m definitely gonna make things more dense/opaque, also gotta get some of that nice thick paper. I have always thought riso was a beautiful format but never got around to learning about it.
Methinks I will reprint these soon, but if you want one of these printer paper versions lmk :3 last pics are the other colors I think would look cool to be printed.
