꒰ঌ ໒꒱ This is a day late but I wanted to get my trans day of visibility post out!!!!
Genuinely these last few years, and months especially, have been so amazing for me and my transition. I truly have found my queer family in so many ways and I couldn't be more grateful. The community has brought so much joy and warmth to my life, meeting all these wonderful drag performers has been such a gift. Everyone in this community has been so welcoming and having that shared experience really is so valuable. Authenticity really does create so much creativity.
The really wonderful thing about being trans is living with that little girl as long as I did. Not everyone's experience is the same, but for me I hope she continues to live in my heart for the rest of my life, and that she gets to experience all the things she didn't get to before. I really wouldn't change anything about living the life that I have and I'm appreciative I grew up with the experience I did.
I also wanna thank every person over my life who has supported my transition and encouraged me all this time, even the people who are not currently in my life, so many people have played a part in this and I'm grateful for everyone who has been there. I'm in a position where I'm privileged enough to have started testosterone and can begin an even bigger part of my journey, but I really wouldn't have been able to do it without the support of those around me. I love all my queer friends and I love being transgender!!!! Don't ever stop living and I hope these next years are kinder to us!!
