Ready to take your startup to the next level? The Incubator is now accepting applications for the Summer 2026 Cohort, and the deadline is just around the corner.
This two-year program helps early-stage startups grow faster with mentorship, expert advisors, investor connections and more. Open to all industries, participants also gain access to the CIE HotHouse, including workspace and a strong founder community.
📅 Summer Cohort begins June 1, 2026

Congratulations to CIE startup ENTEIN on a well-deserved feature in Bugible! 🎉
Founder Bill Burns (Materials Engineering, '24) started ENTEIN as a passion project at Cal Poly, experimenting with black soldier fly larvae as a way to convert food waste into usable protein and fertilizer. What began in a greenhouse on campus has grown into a real business serving wineries, vegetable growers and animal farms along California's Central Coast. 🐛
