Last game of the regular season. Pops picked up a new sweater.
This season has been incredible and full of amazing memories. Getting to spend time with Pops, introducing my kids to Gritty, missing a shot on goal and getting booed, meeting players, and taking some friends to games have made it all worth it.
Now bring on the playoffs.
Valentine’s Day is a capitalistic Hallmark holiday. That being said, felt like a great day to go to my favorite sandwich shop, @loveagainlocal , with my favorite sandwich companion, @kayelless13 And what the hell, let’s get that giant heart shaped cookie.
Not everyday you get to go out on the ice at a pro hockey arena crowd and try and take a shot to win a car. It’s also not everyday you get booed by said crowd because you missed so badly. As Michael Scott said, “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”
