my camera has been broken for about a year and it’s held me back from shooting. i’ve been embracing using a shitty dslr that i’ve had since i was 16 and it’s actually stretching the way i create. i knew i wasn’t going to get great low light performance so i really leaned into that for golden hour. i’m actually so obsessed with the intentional imperfection of these shots and honestly want to keep using it. probably one of my favorite shoots to date. i always say it’s never the tools that make you a great creator it’s how you use them. thanks @ecosensuals for hitting me up for a shoot. this is also one of my best friends yall, go check her out and give her a follow

water has always been an integral part of my life. something about the way it heals you, the way you can physically immerse yourself in it and have gravity melt away from your body as you become a part of nature.
there’s also magic in the culture water creates. water is a gathering place. it’s a healing place. it is a place to be reborn.
it is through many different avenues i have discovered the power of this element and i love getting to explore how we can co-create. thank you, water, for bringing me closer to myself and closer to the earth.

sun slowly melting
beyond my fingertips
like gold
i couldn’t hold onto
watching
metal dripping
down my gut
the light capturing
each soft sparkle
a glimmer of magic
twisting my insides
if only i could embrace
each tiny mirror
as it shatters
on the floor
i’d heal every reflection
as every edge
slices into
my curated palms
pre untz dump of friends n stuff and places that feel like home and places that are home and things that make me feel confused how i got here but happy that i made it
a chemical affair
dripping at my knees
praying for solitude to whisper through my pores
that are clogged with the fear
lent to me by shadows of nature and expectation
just walking through a liminal dream, grasping at the switches
their presence gives me a sense of freedom but my hands are falling apart at the seams
take away the blinders, shoot color into our veins. i’m running into bushes that build hollow buildings.

Iiiii will be returning to the dust!!! So excited for my first real burning man.
