I’m starting my Everest summit push tonight ⛰️
I’ve kept this climb mostly private, sharing only with teammates and close friends. I value quiet solitude—it lets me stay true to myself, free from outside judgment, and fully focus on my creative work.
Everest has shaped me over the past decade, yet this single year has brought more growth than all the years before. It builds not just climbing skill, but inner strength, offering endless unexpected lessons.
I’ve always resisted following the crowd, once craving recognition to fill inner voids, which made me an outcast growing up. Like folding homework paper into an umbrella to draw perfectly crafted art, not everyone appreciated it—just as some misunderstand my Everest project now. Still, I embrace hardships, trusting adversity leads to progress and refusing a mediocre life.
Beyond photography, my core goal is to capture the true blue color value of the sky at Earth’s highest point. Variables may alter the result, yet raising awareness of our sky is reward enough. Grateful to Teacher Ji Yun for his support.
High‑altitude mountaineering is an art of enduring hardship. Even with comfortable base camp life, worldly comforts and mountain updates stir my heart.
May the Queen of the High Peaks welcome us soon.

#everest
@andrzejbargiel becomes the first person to climb Mount Everest, and ski back down, without bottled oxygen 😮
I Skied Down Everest (no nonsense name, that) is part of our Mountain Films screening on Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm, dedicated entirely to Everest. Catch it alongside:
– A Thousand Words: filmmakers @mattsharman.media and @dombush1 follow in the footsteps of legendary mountaineer and photographer Vittorio Sella, who captured the first images of Everest 125 years ago. The team set out for Nepal to find the exact spot where Sella stood in 1899, then recreate the iconic photograph on a large-format camera they’ve never used before. What could go wrong?
– Forward to Mt. Everest Summit: a beautiful short film of continuous footage of the entire north side route. 🎬 @chunlinmark
Tickets in bio!
⛰️Mt.Kailash
Six years ago, after an arduous trek, I calculated the exact position of the moon, sent up my drone, and captured this breathtaking moment when the sun and moon shone together over the sacred Mount Kailash in a miraculous celestial dance.
⛰️Gasherbrum I Peak 8080m
The world‘s 11th peak
In Balti, it means ”beautiful mountain“ - rgasha (beautiful) + brum (mountain), but some people think that gashulbrum means “shining wall”.
From an aerial perspective of 7000m, we re-recorded the wall, and for the first time, we fully showed the detailed texture of the mountain on the east side of the hidden peak.
It’s a new view point of Mt.Everest 8848.86m. We just met a very beautiful lenticularis on summit.
Under this veil, showing the climbing route and three steps on the north side of Mt.Everest.
这里是珠峰的全新视角,我们刚好在这里遇到一朵美丽的荚状云。在这美丽的头纱下,清晰的展示了珠峰北侧的攀登路线和三台阶。
