🤘 2025 🤘 Fewer things, but bigger things.
A year of true adventure. Made it to my 7th continent, worked over 40 shows in a new dream job with Live Nation, got forklift certified AND learned to drive stick shift, worked concerts for two of my bucket list bands, traveled for a third year with some amazing people, became an aunt for a first time.
That said, bring on 2026–to bigger AND better things 🙌
Another true bucket list trip in 2025–to Egypt 🇪🇬 with our fearless leaders @loewhaley and @explore_egypt_with_hany .
Grateful to be able to travel with these amazing people year after year.
In 2025 I made it to my 7th continent 🇦🇶
A few ‘fun facts’ about the trip:
🐳 our polar plunge was interrupted by a whale, which is a thing that had not happened to our captain in 40 years (photos 10, 11)
🎤 we happened to have a Backstreet Boy on our trip (this will forever be one of my best ‘fun facts’ 😂) (photo 3)
🐧 penguins are my new favorite and I probably need a post just dedicated to videos of them (photos 4, 5, 6, 16)
📸 narrowing this post down to 20 selections is fairly impossible (which is why it’s taken 9 months)
2024 has been a year on the MOVE. I honestly cannot remember a time that was more on the go 🏃🏻♀️ (For reference, I’ve had this video in drafts for about six months and just tweaked a bit for EOY.)
A few of the highlights include:
🌍 Traveled to 13 countries (including Italy for lunch…), and to my sixth continent.
🎬 Got back into entertainment working gigs with Sundance Film Festival, Live Nation and ESPN
🎸 Worked 40+ concerts, supervising some prime locations including the section with Noah Kahan’s b-stage, the barricade for Falling in Reverse and the main gate during the lightning evacuation of Def Leopard
⛺️ Camping in the (Indio) desert while working Coachella, and forcing @becsgramme to listen to the release of Tortured Poets Department at midnight— then seeing Taylor perform the set in concert a month later in Sweden with @green_eggs_and_samg@buzzbee7u@shannonpaige3 and @lawlyss
〽️ Watching my team win a NATIONAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP in person and getting to serve as a part-time seasonal application reader for said alma mater #GOBLUE
💻 Running my own freelance marketing consulting business, as well as continuing my freelance work (hobby?) as a certified travel advisor with Fora Travel, and earning my certificate in Instructional Design from Duke University continuing ed
🆕 Starting a full time role at Plaid!
🏃🏻♀️ Running half marathon number four!
Cannot wait for what 2025 has in store 😉
✨This night is sparkling✨
After trying (and failing) to plan a northern lights trip for the last 5 years, I was lucky enough to see them TWICE this year. The first time on a hunt in Abisko, Sweden, and the second time just two months later in my backyard of Salt Lake (the Great Saltair to be specific).
Still can’t get over this luck in 2024 💚❤️🩷
Africa, the animal version 🐘🐒🦒🦁🐆🦓🦜🦛🐐
Still cannot get over how lucky my car got for both game drives, how cool it was to see elephants come right into our camp, or just giraffes in general (they cannot be real).
Africa. The people version 🌍
Now that Instagram has started allowing for 20 image carousels, seemed like the right time to start unloading some 2024 travel 📸
Looking forward to seeing what 2024 has in store.
