OFFICIALLY AN AMAZON BESTSELLER! Someone called my attention at the beginning of the week to the fact that my new book has been steadily climbing up the Amazon Bestseller Rank in MULTIPLE CATEGORIES. Self Help. Biographies. Depression. Mental Health. I was stunned. Because I certainly don’t know anything about how to get a book to the top of the Bestseller Ranks. I don’t have an Amazon strategy. I have run no ads. I have not even really pushed my audience to go on Amazon to buy since the year started. But I looked and THERE IT WAS: It was in the Top 300 in one category, and then the next time I checked Top 200 in 3 categories, These are amongst the toughest categories to rank high on. And then yesterday it hit the Top 100 in one of the most competitive categories, and number 101 in another. Top 100 Bestselling Author. Number 73 in Mental Health. And it is now one of the 25,000 top selling books in the world! ALL ORGANICALLY. I still cannot believe this is happening. In December, my sister and co-founder at Joy, Inc. told me when I was worried about how to market this book when there was so much we had to do and I couldn’t even kick off full publicity until January: “I think we have to breathe on this one, Chude. The message will spread. No hurrying.” I said to her: “My spirit agrees! Please always remind me whenever I feel the need to ‘hustle’ it.” We decided: we would do two things and two things only - podcasts I like and then a book tour. Nothing more, nothing less. We decided: we would focus on Africans in Africa and across the world. African podcasts, African audiences, an Africa-first strategy. We would trust my audience of Africans in Africa and across the world to carry this message, to amplify this mission, to accelerate this movement. And you have been doing it! THANK YOU!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH The goal: The Amazon Top 100 Overall in Books. And if we did this organically already - no free campaign, no ads, no discounts, no bulk buying, no gimmicks; then IT IS POSSIBLE WITH YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT. The journey has just started. Please continue to spread the world, please continue to share then impact this book have on you,

My guest today is Sunshine Rosman, an actress and media personality. She reflects on losing her father at 16, the grief that shaped her. She opens up about growing up with assumptions attached to her appearance, and the realities behind a life many imagined was easy. She opens up about ambition, personal growth, the career moments that transformed her into a national sensation, and the realities many women quietly endure. Through it all, she remains open-hearted, reflective, and deeply human. This is Shine Rosman, open-hearted, reflective, and unapologetically real. — To watch, go to watch.withchude.com and to listen go to listen.withchude.com. The day my daughter asked me if I was happy or sad was one of the most emotional moments of my life. In that moment, she gave me a reason to keep living. - Adeola Kingsley-James

Some children don’t rebel because they are bad. Sometimes, rebellion is the only language they know for asking to be seen. — Adeola Kingsley-James

The hardest part isn’t replacing negative thoughts. It’s confronting the old beliefs that created them in the first place, healing begins with noticing how harshly you speak to yourself. — Adeola Kingsley-James

Hypnotherapy felt frightening to me and even forbidden, but after I experienced it, I understood why healing sometimes comes in forms we were taught to fear. It became one of the best decisions I ever made. —Adeola Kingsley-James To watch, go to watch.withchude.com and to listen go to listen.withchude.com. Adiola Kingsley-James and I sat down for a conversation exploring emotional, mental, and spiritual realities. — We reflected on how the words we constantly speak over ourselves can slowly shape our minds, bodies, and lives. — She opened up about therapy, healing, hypnotherapy, and the resistance many people still have toward emotional work. — We spoke on her childhood experiences and unmet needs that quietly shaped who she became as an adult. — We explored attention, rebellion, validation, and the subconscious motivations behind many of our choices. — We questioned what peace really means, and the uncomfortable truths people sometimes hide beneath simple answers. — We leaned into conversations that are vulnerable, confronting, honest, and deeply introspective. This is Adeola Kingsley-James — reflective, healing, and radically honest.

Adeola Kingsley-James and I talked about fear, childhood wounds, healing, and the quiet ways our past continues to shape our present. We talked about therapy, self-worth, and what it really means to confront yourself honestly. About how you can say all the right things out loud and still not believe them within. Some parts were hard to hear. Some parts felt deeply healing. This is Adeola Kingsley-James with Chude and this episode felt like therapy for both of us.
