Mom’s memorial was today. It was a beautiful service at our lifelong neiborhood church.
I’d heard my father sing in this room for so many years before he passed in 2010.
Mom had 1 standing request.
She wa insistent that the song “Time” by the Allen Parsons Project was included in her celebration of life. She would remind me about it every time we’d hear it at Walgreen’s or Cub foods and it would come on the overhead.
I would joke that she he’d to stick around for a while because the song has a Lot of chords!
We got to play it for her today.
I was joined by my niece Rachel Peterson, and the Minnesota Chamber Players (quartet)
It was a wonderful gathering of family and friends today. Mom’s spirit was shining down on a sunny April day..
Flow on Marjorie Erickson…..for evermore!

Another fugly minivan bites the dust.
Yay no ditch or guardrail. Only the stank of metal on tire remains. Lots of delivery miles and wood tips burned in this one….i chose Viking funeral from the salvage menu.
Can anybody confirm that there is (was) a black version of this at Paisley Park? I remember catching a glimpse of something like this when I was working in the building.
