CJ had his very first philanthropic opportunity today. He was a buddy for The Miracle League of the Triangle. He did a great job and I'm so proud of him and how well he worked with the players. He was obviously very nervous but settled in quickly. Make it a point to do this with your kids if they are 12 or older.
Finally getting around to posting a few shots from our Disney trip. I do not recommend 5 parks in a week! 😅 However, I do recommend staying at the Polynesian. The newer towers are awesome and offer an amazing view of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom every night. You also get extra hours at night when the park closes with a ton less people if you stay there.
Finally getting around to showing the 2025 display. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone! Went with a mostly red and white theme this time around.
Ringing the bell for the Salvation Army as I've done for the last 26 years today. Was happy to have my sister Jacqueline S. Norman Fuentes with me before she flys back to Texas this afternoon and with one of my best buds and fellow Rotarian, Walt Parker. And we got a cameo with Don Cloninger as we passed the bell for his shift. You know I always have to have some holiday flair! However, it wad too cold to have it exposed most of the time so I had to take a quick one with the jacket open. Join me for lunch sometime with Cary MacGregor Rotary and see how we give back year round!
A few weeks late posting the video of the lights. Too much going on and a very late start getting going this year...better late than never. New 15 ft Rudolph and 12 ft Grinch this year among other new additions.
