I had an incredible time this past week speaking at the @taaforg AAPI Heritage Month Summit! I'm so grateful to organizations like TAAF and @goldhouseco that are helping to uplift and share AAPI stories, successes, and reaching to make things better and better!
I'm still learning to embrace my AAPI identity after it wasn't a huge part of my upbringing, for numerous reasons-not the least of which being that using a wheelchair occupied a bit more of my headspace! I am so thankful now though that I am able to embrace it however, and tell my story, and my family's story in the way it deserves to be told. I've got a lot to say, so I'm excited to start sharing about this!

Definitely a winning moment with the amazing Olympians Suni Lee and James Williams and Paralympian Chuck Aoki. They represent Asian Americans with pride in their respective sports of gymnastics, fencing and wheelchair rugby.

I'm not even joking about the traffic cop, one time I was waiting, and two guys came around opposite ends of the stalls to use a urinal, and couldn't decide who should go, so I coordinated a decision for them 😭😂😭
