Before Christmas we were fortunate enough to sponsor and participate in a conservation and education festival for children hosted by our partners and friends at @islacocos , along with @mareblucostarica@parque.marino.del.pacifico@cynocion@flyfishingfilmtour and many others.
After a beach cleanup, the children learned how to release corvina (sea bass) donated by the Marine Park and research center and why it is important to take care of the ocean and the species in it.
Then after an in-house fishing tournament and introduction to fly tying and casting with @chuck_hill and @rambleranglerandblade , gifts donated by @columbiapfg@reellocal@atollasgear were awarded to our participants.
All of this was followed up by a screening of the world’s best fly fishing films of 2025.
Kids ranging from infants to teenagers were in attendance along with their families and all left the world a better place!
The future is in their hands and it looks bright!🫸🏼🌎🫷🏼
