Another year and another course that I've been able to attend with the amazing teacher that is @alfonso_giraldes_banshee . He shared his knowledge with us focusing on volumetry and nmm in a nice weekend surrounded by paints and brushes.

Today as a gift for my birthday, that's been a few days ago, I have been lucky enough to get a private lesson about how to sketch and refine nmm on the hand of the great @j.g.miralles for a few hours (left one is his and right one mine, just in case is not obvious š¤£).
He's such a great artist and teacher and a better person. Really glad I took the chance and even if I still have a lot to do, I have the tools now to continue with this process.

Today I went on a different direction, I wanted to try and replicate a picture by drawing, I know is far from looking close to the reference but for my second attempt in something like this I'm kind of happy with what I achieved in a couple of hours with a regular pencil and a rubber.
Kind of what you order, what you get vibe lol š¤£

Here is a model that's been sitting around for like 10 years. I made this conversion back in the day while experimenting with oyumaru, moulds and milliput+greenstuff mixes and some sculpting to adapt pieces. It was supposed to be for my kings of war army but never came to paint it or play it. You can see how it looked before priming that is all made out of putty in the second picture.
Now I can finally call it ready for the battle!
By the way, remember to clean the camera before taking shots, until I've realised the issue...you can see the difference of the before and after in the third picture šš¤£

Here are some of the projects I've been working on this year, many are still late wip but I have some finished among them. Little by little I've been getting more into busts while I continue building my long waited army projects which make me kind of happy. Hopefully next year I will be able to paint more, and finish some of those š, and have fun while learning and improving of course.
