Laughs, tears, & everything in between. Started the meeting by restating the assembly purpose. For Black folk to organize for a better future we must know each other & be aware of community concerns. The purpose is to create space US to organize action items & solutions. GOOD NEWS!! 🗣️✅✅✅✅ - Mary Middleton, a Direct Decendant of Henry & Arthur Middleton, traffickers of over 900 enslaved peoples has released her FULL solidarity statement with @charleston4reparations DEMANDS for the three most prominent Charleston plantations to cede over 7,000 acres of their land to form a Gullah Geechee Reparations Land Reservation 🤝🏾❤️🖤💚 - If YOU would like to make an impact PLEASE DM us or leave a comment sharing your support for this necessary change! ➡️ We have started a solidarity list of biz, artists, organizations, groups, families, etc. who support!
