Explorers is back with a special edition. Last week we put out an open call on Instagram and connected with Chronic Preview, who delivers today’s one-hour journey. The show unfolds as a sound story inspired by favorite anime and video-game worlds, built from Japanese artists we keep returning to, from Kenji Kawai to Susumu Hirasawa’s mind-bending, off-world electronics, and the surreal emotional gravity of Masaaki Yuasa’s Kaiba. Expect mostly hidden gems with a few classics, drifting through atmosphere and hypnotic left-field moments, touched by Susumu Yokota’s airy ambient/deep-house feel and a playful nod to Soichi Terada. The selection also dives into Japanese ’90s CD discoveries gathered during a recent Japan tour.

Deep it goes and dark it gets! For the 23rd installation of our mix series we’re blessed by none other than @chronic_preview who guides us through deep sub bass, swung percussion and electric breakbeats. This recorded mix is more than just a heavy rump shaker. It’s a true reflection of Chronic Previews musical world. As described by the artist himself: “This mix reflects who I am and what I love in music. It balances dark and light, slow and fast, serious moments with a touch of irony. It’s a blend of many genres, and I hope you enjoy this journey.”

Live from #proekt out now! Watch on YouTube - listen on SoundCloud! All links in bio. We couldn't go for a swim, but we were able to take a spontaneous and somewhat illegal shoot on the shore of the Tel Aviv promenade. [@chronic_preview ] "The world is changing. People are changing with it. To be able to stop, a person has to run..." Thinking about this, Chronic Preview recently launched a new high-energy and powerful “Speed track” mix series. The concept behind the series is to capture the fast pace of today's world and help listeners keep up with it.

Okey, time to unmute After almost a year of silence and the whole spectrum of feelings that I experienced Short story: After the war starts I completely lost myself. I felt guilty, ashamed, and there was a feeling that I had no moral right to do what I love I Аlso felt like I was part of the cancel culture and in this “world” no one wants to connect with me This thought made me feel lonely and offended. I see how my friends playing all around the world, I see their emotions, I feel the vibes and it started to make me jealous I began to perceive the music industry through the prism of business, where narcissism is the main quality to become a winner. And as a result I I have completely devalued the music industry. I stopped believing that someone is listening to music, I stopped feeling that someone needs my music as well At this point I got into a loop and the resentment inflated in my head took me further and further away from Until one day I realized this. I catch my thoughts, I feel that I’m in the dialogue with my shadow. I feel that I’m honest with myself and I finally get the energy to exit this loop. I love this industry And I don't want to become that snobby musician who took offense at the whole world, at all people, and now grumbles to himself how disappointed he is about everything To prove to myself that someone needs music and to contribute to the industry, I decided to create a series of energized mixes. You know, those when you want to add gas on the road)) that's how “speed track” appeared In the next year I will made 12 different “Speed track” guest shows and this is the beginning of my back in business situation Join me in this race 🏍️ Link in bio P.S. Big up to my dear friend @decemberfool and Luis&Juliette for having me. And thx to all the beautiful talents for their music and for the inspiration
