These ultra wide video posts offer us the perfect opportunity to mention this super fun collab we did last year with @gallerynucleus ! We created a series of super wide animations with a roster of amazing artists to be displayed on some very cool LED screens at a new building. This video was designed & directed by @softgoats and animated by @kendallnelsonart
Last week DOGE terminated all grant funding from @nehgov , affecting museums and arts organizations all over the country. Among the many casualties is this documentary film from @twotigersco , “You Should Never Blink”, about Corita Kent, the “pop art nun”. We have been helping on this film for over 3 years providing designs, animation, and motion graphics. Corita’s influence runs deeply through our own work, and if you are a fan of graphic design and mid century pop art, you surely know her work.
This isn’t just about one film—it’s about protecting arts funding nationwide. Corita’s colorful art gives us hope that “flowers grow out of the dark moments” 🌸
