Rounding out “F0” is “Axial Sweep.” Initiating our techno output is a shuffling, percussive track that punches into the dancefloor with Motor City inspired intensity. The title grows out of its primary melodic element, a jazzy bleep line that spirals around itself, morphing throughout the track.
“Axial Sweep” functions as an equally powerful crosswind to “Chez 568,” setting the stage for sonic wind shear as a storm begins to develop.

Some heavy distorted stuff with the Digitakt and Digitone. Digitakt's drums pushed through it's compressor and into the Digitone, with lots of master overdrive. Heavy inspiration from @ess_mtsn . With the recent release of the Model:Cycles, I've been really craving some mean FM drum sounds. For this jam I used the Digitone for drum duties only, and the Circuit Mono Station for bass. Everything is running through the Analog Heat for some tasteful distortion. One more repost from my other account... Here's a patch and melody I made on the @weareelektron Digitone. Being an FM synth, the Digitone is capable of making some very alien and potentially harsh sounds, but I find myself gravitating towards softer, classic synth sounds like this. Also added a touch of Analog Heat because it pairs so nicely with the Digitone. Currently working on new music with it and Digitakt as the centerpieces. 😁🎹🎵 #elektron #digitone #analogheat
