Wanted to share some VFX/Analog glitching sequences that I worked on for “Waking Purgatory”, a short film directed by @jayanthonyolson 🎬
Many people don’t know that I offer this service, and I wanted to bring some attention to it because it’s a passion of mine. I use circuit bent tools and CRT TV’s from the 80’s, 90’s & 00’s to distort images, which I then re-capture using my mirrorless camera.
You may find the short film on Jay’s Youtube channel, it’s chalk full of atmosphere and tension. The setting itself is a character. If you’re into liminal/backrooms content, this is right up your alley.
Synopsis:
A man wakes up in an abandoned office complex and begins to search for a way out, and discovers clues as to why he’s there.
