#ProjectHailMary will not be streaming “anytime soon” and is extending its run in movie theaters after grossing $517M and counting worldwide.
“MGM is extending the exclusive theatrical window for ‘Project Hail Mary,’ so it won’t be on streaming anytime soon,” co-director Christopher Miller revealed on X. “This is a movie that needs to be seen on a big screen – and with a full return to IMAX screens for one week only starting this weekend, make plans to see it in a theater now! Bring friends and loved ones. It’s an experience to share with others.”
The #RyanGosling-led film has been playing in U.S. theaters for just over one month, which is usually when studios start making movies available to watch from home via PVOD platforms. “Scream 7,” for instance, hit PVOD 31 days after its theatrical opening.
