What an amazing couple of weeks. The Olympics gives snowboarding an opportunity for us to showcase what we do to the world. So how did we do? I think we did pretty damn good. There were so many highlights and I am proud, honoured and grateful that I am a part of this community. Here are some examples of what we showcased and the highlights I hope we can all focus on: The women’s field is the most entertaining part of snowboard right now and the camaraderie is unmatched in any other sport from what I’ve seen. They hold each other up in a very positive way. @mingSuYi and @ZoiSynnott have put the world on notice. Su Yiming has progressed to an insane level so quickly. Zoi is in a field of her own as highlighted in her slopestyle run winning New Zealand’s first ever gold medal in Winter Olympics. @MaxParrot podiumed twice 3 years after recovering from cancer. @MarkMcmorris podiumed 3 Olympics in a row. @ShaunWhite retires after 5 Olympics and a successful career that pushed everyone to new levels. @4Kaishu breaks the world record air in pipe, unofficially. @AyumuHirano1129 does the first triple in a landed contest run twice. Landed it in all 3 of his runs while sleeping in between hits. @Leila_Iwabuchi comes so close to landing the first triple in contest for the women after breaking her hand in practice and what does her competitors do? They come out and share the moment with her. This is just scratching the surface on all the amazing things that happened and if you want to share add some into the comments. As a community we need to hold each other up in a positive and kind way - judges, riders, coaches, organizers, filmers, photographers, TM’s, media and everyone else involved and that’s what we should be showcasing to the world. Of the 3 Olympics I have attended I think this is the best we have done of presenting this. I f’ing love this community, love working with the Canadian 🍁 squad and I am so grateful that the community invites me to be a part of it. I ❤️ snowboarding! #OhCanada #OhSnowboarding @CanadaSnowboardTeam

Some selects from the Games! This Olympics was a different beast! We’re coming home without the hardware we have in the past, and our expectations were lower than the last three Games — but we’ve always defined success by our behaviors matching our principles. If we live our values, the accolades are a byproduct. It was a challenging Games for the community: weather delays, lack of testing, build and schedule adjustments, and judging criteria and process misunderstandings. Still, the riders and community showed up and did the best they could with what was offered. There will always be challenges. As a wise man always says “No challenge, no change.” — @sheppardcoach Even with these challenges there were so many highlights: - Women’s snowboarding is in such an inspiring, progressive, stylish place. - Men’s Halfpipe is on another level across the whole field. - Big Air + Slopestyle continue to prove you can choose your own path and still contend for the podium. The games is an opportunity for us to show the world how we behave in our community and how we can hold each other up. With all this in mind I thought a lot about @keenanjeff throughout these three weeks. He stood for reliability — for showing up so everyone felt supported in the community. I tried to honor that here. I hope we did. Almost a year since he passed, and I can feel how much we all miss him still. I am so full of gratitude for this community and the culture we share. Thank you Jeff and thank you snowboarding ❤️🕊️

Happy Birthday, Brother. I wasn’t sure if I should post these photos from such a meaningful day—celebrating Jeff on his birthday. After some reflection, I felt it was important to share these moments from that day. There were so many mixed emotions. I still catch myself having conversations about him like he’s still here. We shared tears, smiles, laughs, and stories—for Jeff, for Leanne, Brendan, and Khy. I’m grateful we got to spend his birthday surrounded by such an incredible community. But even with all the love and support, the pain of losing him still runs deep. So many people have stepped up for those who need it most through this unimaginable loss. Love you, Jeff. And love this community that continues to show up with so much heart. ❤️

Jeff Keenan you literally embodied living to your values. Something I aspire to do everyday which is so hard for me, but you made it look so seamless, authentic and second nature. I looked up to you in so many ways but that was for me the most inspiring characteristic you had. It poured over into the community and forced others to better just by being around you. You fought for what was right and you always had the community at heart. You will be very missed by your community, your friends, and your family. Although I’m grateful for the time we all had and what we learned from you, I’m going to miss our laps together on Whistler sharing pow turns, trips together sharing waves, your laugh, your friendship, everything. You meant a lot to a lot of people. I will miss you so much brother. Love you Kwon💔
