Spent the last 12 days showing movies across the city as part of the 60th @chifilmfest . Thanks to all the filmmakers and volunteers, and audience members. One of many highlights was connecting with 3 members of Chicago’s Jane Collective - a radical underground pre-Roe mutual aid abortion group - at a screening of @abbieperrault and @maisiecrow ‘s compelling doc, Zurawski vs Texas.
Chicago friends! I am moving back to the twinkling shores of Lake Michigan next week. Please send word of all your goings-on. Let’s go for drinks or bike rides or lake-front walks. I have missed you and am ready to reacclimate. ❤️
The 59th Chicago International Film Festival @chifilmfest is on its way. There are lots of volunteer positions available. Volunteers get to pick their schedules, watch free movies, and meet other cinema lovers!
