I've done a lot of cooking over the years, but ive never made Welsh cakes. Today was my first attempt... they look okay if you ask me... if a touch well fired. I think that I definitely need a bakestone or griddle.

This is my wife. You can see her over there in the distance. Shes the one between two very needy children, entertaining them even though she's tired; when she's unwell, when she's got too much on her plate, she carries on. She does everything, keeps us going, ties up the cracks and holds us together. There is nobody better, there is nobody more beautiful, and she's mine, and I am hers.

Was asked about the progress of my wall yesterday, and I'm pleased to say that I finished it last week. I will be adding a little more to cap off the top and redoing a little bit at the top end for to make it pretty in the future, but yes, the wall is up and I'm ready to move on to other aspects of the garden.
