The Off Broadway revival of John Patrick Shanley's "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea" follows Danny and Roberta, two Bronx down-and-outs who open their hearts to each other and frequently draw blood. In Shanleyville, emotions are operatic, accents are outer-borough, and a kiss, as Dean Martin once sang, is a kick in the head. Christopher Abbott has appeared Off Broadway a half-dozen times and on Broadway once. Aubrey Plaza never went to an acting conservatory and says she has impostor syndrome with theater. “Chris and I are giving her four years of theater school in a couple months, and she’s taking to it like a duck to water,” director Jeff Ward tells @nej217 . Tap the link in bio for an inside look at how they made the show's savage romance, the advice Plaza's current roommate Patti LuPone gave her, and more.

“The Abbott” collab with our good pal @christopher__abbott filled with yuzu curd and vanilla cream, vanilla & yuzu glaze. I guess you can call it a yuzu creamsicle. Special thanks to @christopher__abbott and @arbso for being the biggest wildair doughnut supporters of all times. 🖤🖤🖤🖤
