A quiet moment remembering the reason for the day.

As I begin my 32nd year on this earth, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the life God has given me. One of my closest friend’s asked what my favorite moment was from all my birthday festivities and I had to ponder this question because there were so many. After thinking a bit more, I realized my favorite moment was understanding more than ever how blessed I am to have such an incredible community of friends and family in my life. As we live out our days on this earth, it’s so important to surround yourself with people that breathe life into you. After a weekend celebrating and reflecting on another year passing by, I’m humbled and grateful for where God has me and the beautiful story he’s continuing to write throughout my life. I’ve been though deep valleys and taken in the view from the summits, but I wouldn’t trade either because God uses mountains and valleys to shape his children into His beautiful creation. I was on the mountain top this past weekend and my heart is so full. Thank you everyone for all your kind and thoughtful birthday wishes. Here’s to another year full of intangible treasures that can’t be seen or touched, but felt deep within the heart where it matters most.

Filming bridal portraits in this space was so inspiring. The natural lighting paired with the checkered floor and spiral staircase made for the perfect backdrop to capture @channychan in her elegant dress.
