“5925” - The first piece from my ongoing series titled “Remnants of a dying frequency”
“kHz” acts as a visual journal of my shortwave radio findings. Each piece is named after the kHz frequency in which they were found. Each recording is logged on paper then recorded and saved onto a drive as a digital collection. I then select specific ones and export them into sound waves, this series is what brings those findings and sound waves to life.

Some recent school / concept work from my Typography 2 class last month. The premise of this project was to find an event and create 3 cohesive typography posters. The event I chose was @artwithoutintent “Found Object Show”. Each visual element was pulled and scanned from an antique furniture and decor book from the 1970s.
Disclaimer: concept work, not associated with actual event.

So happy to finally be able to post about this! Back in November - December I got the opportunity to design merch for @cosettelunsford on the LA Lune Tour by @erinlecount that took place over the past couple weeks!
Very proud of my work on this. Cosette’s vision for the design consisted of cyanotype imagery with a Y2K design centric feel.
When designing the front, I took a lot from my personal style whilst heavily focusing on the cyanotype idea. Taking scans, screenshots from music videos, and various textures, I developed this cohesive and well formed frontal graphic.
The back takes inspiration from Cosette’s artwork for her single “Care”, which consists of hand painted wings on her back. I decided to take on the challenge of hand painting my own wings for it. (See last side for process)
It’s so awesome to see my work being sold at shows in physical form, and even better seeing the human interaction that comes with that.
Thanks again! @cosettelunsford
Shout to @more.carter for the logo design featured on the bottom left of the front graphic.
Special thanks to @sunpopmusic

Short.wav physical radio concept and logo motion graphic
Introducing the Short.Wav physical radio, a user friendly, design intuitive, physical shortwave radio that corresponds with the WebSDR application.
Features of the radio include high quality speakers for advanced listening, a large frequency range for extreme long distance, an advanced but simple dial system for easy use and accessibility, a 4 ft antenna for longer range, and a fully customizable digital screen.
One of the biggest features and the one that stands out is its internal audio clipping system. This systems acts very similarly to game console clipping. It’s simple, push the button and select the time in which you wish to record. From there the radio will clip the last 15 seconds to 3 minutes of audio that you just listened to. From there you can choose to send it straight to Short.wav application profile, or simply save it to an SD Card.
The radio concept commercial was built fully within Blender and post was done within Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
The logo animation was done in After Effects and later using a CRT TV along with circuit bending for an authentic analog glitch effect and look.
Some recent brand identity design work.
Introducing “Short.Wav”, a user friendly, design intuitive, WebSDR and corresponding physical Radio concept.
Short.wav combines both minimalistic design with the science and art of sound. Its sleek design and user friendly interface stands out over its competitors and creates a new way for beginners and experts to embark, engage, learn, and share shortwave radio.
As mentioned here and above, there is a third interface. Yes, not including the phone and tablet. Stay tuned for the next post to see the Short.wav branded physical radio concept.
