Two new releases out today!! ⬜️⬛️ Last week I had the privilege of performing the score for @matthewneenan ’s new ballet SQUARES live onstage as part of a sold-out run with the incredible dancers of @balletx . The piece is fully electronic, written and performed on analogue synthesizers, and represents a direction in my work that feels delightfully and genuinely new. I’m so grateful for the visual world that @christopherash1 built around the movement and the music. The stark geometry of the set and lighting, as well as the way @karenyoungstudio ’s costumes moved through it, is something I wish I could hang on my wall and look at forever. SQUARES is now on Spotify, alongside PUBLIC CEREMONY EP01, a short collection of more ambient and textural pieces recorded over the past year on the same instruments. Links to both in bio. Love, gratitude, courage, happiness and unforgettable are the words that come to mind to describe the journey of creating GENTLEMAN JACK with the @northernballet I didn’t want this journey to end, but life is about learning to let go, moving forward and savoring the memories.
