5-Day Roadtrip on Highway 395 along the east side of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range for Juju’s Birthday last week. Started from San Jose and headed to Lone Pine and the Alabama Hills at the base of Mt. Whitney. (Tallest peak in the lower 48 states) The Alabama Hills has been the backdrop of over 400 movies including Iron Man, Dune, Gladiator, Django Unchained, and a bunch of old westerns.
Headed north and explored Bishop, Mammoth Lakes, June Lake, Mono Lake, Carson City, North Lake Tahoe, and Donner Lake to back home.
+/- 1,100 miles in some of the best weather I’ve ever experienced in the Sierras.
Highly recommend this trip. 🤙
