This is my application for the @artlist.io $100K fund.
My dream is to realize a shortfilm called "Generation Zero".
We shot a proof of concept trailer to give you a glimpse of what this film could look and feel like.
What you think about it?
Would you be interested in supporting or being a part of this exciting project?

Finally starting with my personal YouTube channel. I will add all my videos there one after another in the next couple of weeks. Feel free to check it out. Hope you enjoy watching them as much as I did creating them. You will also find some very old work from my archive ;)

“Where should we put the camera?”
Probably the most important question during location scouting.
Most people only look at the frame.
But great shots are usually a combination of 3 things:
1. What’s the actual subject?
What do you WANT to show — and what should stay hidden?
2. What’s happening in the background?
Depth, separation, distractions, texture…
The background changes everything.
3. Light.
Always light.
Where is the sun?
Where are the shadows?
What surfaces bounce light back into the scene?
Sometimes moving the camera just one meter completely changes the feeling of the image.
Especially when working with natural light, understanding these small shifts is everything.
The location already gives you the production value.
Your job is knowing where to stand.

When the sky collapsed,
when the oceans of fire swallowed the city,
when the world itself began to disappear…
none of it mattered anymore.
Not the money.
Not the noise.
Not the fear.
Not the time we thought we had left.
In the end, the only thing that ever truly mattered
was whether you loved…
and whether you were loved in return.
Everything else turns to dust. ☄️❤️

Not everyone has access to tropical locations.
And honestly — even when you do, getting crew and gear into these places is rarely easy.
That’s why preproduction matters.
Before every shoot, ask yourself:
What do we REALLY need to capture the feeling of this film?
Most productions carry too much.
Too much gear.
Too many people.
Too much friction.
The heavier the production becomes, the less freedom you have to reach extraordinary places.
I’d rather sacrifice equipment than sacrifice the shot.
Because the location already gives you production value:
texture, atmosphere, depth, imperfections, scale.
Nature is already art directed.
Your job is to access it before the light disappears.
Small agile crews move faster.
React faster.
And sometimes that’s exactly what creates the most cinematic images.

You don’t always need more budget.
Sometimes you just need the right environment.
Nature gives you what productions try to build:
real texture, real depth, real light.
No artificial set can compete with something that already exists.
Small crew.
Available light.
Fast decisions.
That’s how you stay flexible.
That’s how you capture moments instead of forcing them.
Epic doesn’t come from money.
It comes from awareness.
See what’s already there.
Use it better.

Who is the most important person in a commercial film? (It’s not who you think)
Is it the producer? The agency creative? The client?
❌ No.
👉 It’s your client’s customer.
In this video, I break down why every single decision — from the first idea to the final cut — should be built around the person who will actually buy the product.
➡️ The real decision-maker
➡️ The audience you need to move emotionally
➡️ The person your film must truly connect with
Because great advertising only works when it hits this core:
💥 Identify the problem
💥 Understand needs & wants
💥 Create an emotional connection
💥 Present a clear solution
If your film makes the viewer feel:
👉 “They understand me — and this is exactly what I need”
…you’ve done your job.
🎥 Whether you’re a director, producer, or creative:
Stop thinking only about your client — start thinking about THEIR customer.
🔥 In this video you’ll learn:
Why many commercials fail due to the wrong focus
How to make stronger creative decisions
How to combine emotion with strategy
Why the “client’s customer” should guide everything

“Okay, I get it… Hollywood is cooked. AI is taking over. Your job is screwed, right?”
…or is it?
I’ve been a filmmaker for over a decade.
And every year, there’s a new tool. New tech. New “game changer.”
And every time people say:
👉 This is the end.
But we’re still here.
AI isn’t the enemy.
It’s a tool.
A powerful one.
“If you are working in this industry, you always have to adapt…”
The truth is:
This industry has always been evolving.
And AI is just the next step.
It’s not going away.
For me as a director, the biggest challenge has always been
communicating my vision clearly.
With AI?
➡️ faster
➡️ clearer
➡️ more direct
So instead of being afraid of it…
maybe it’s time to understand it.
Or even embrace it.
👉 I break this down in detail on YouTube
(and show exactly how I use AI in my work)
