Letting Go.
As life dances to its own rhythm,
I find that I sometimes miss the beat.
Not because I couldn't hear it,
but because I was trying to hear the last tune that I really liked.
However,
life has no replay button.
It cannot be replayed like that Bon Jovi song you (definitely not me of course) sing under the shower.
As the orchestra of the universe plays its composition,
there is just one thing to do.
To fully enjoy, without attachment to what was.
The silence, when a song ends,
can feel unbearable.
But keep in mind,
that it marks the beginning of the next ballad,
that builds on former beauty.
And just as we don't go to a Metallica concert to scream "Play Beethoven!"
(although that would be kinda funny).
What's the point of resisting the tune of life?
So let us remember foregone melodies.
And let them teach us how to dance to each song,
that we have the privilege of listening to.
Rest in peace.
Thank you Alverto.
Thank you to the Frankfurt School, my friends, and my family, who was and is supporting me.
I would be somewhere else without you.
Like my philosophy professor used to say:
Onwards and upwards.
