Finished a 10 day silent meditation course in the practice of Vipassana. No phone and no way to ask Google a question.
One of the toughest things Iâve ever done mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically (about 10 hours of meditation a day. Many times with the direction of not moving an inch.) Been meditating the last 5 years on and off but this was a whole new experience. I would feel my legs falling off, hands cramping with itching/stabbing sensations all over the body. Itâs astonishing though how you can slowly overcome these feelings with practice. (Still practicing)
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in challenging themselves. Anyone who has a chronic illness, old and new injuries, depression, ptsd (like who doesnât?), anyone who is thinking about getting old, who has unwanted thoughts or wants to dig deeper into themselves. Doesnât matter about your creed, ethnicity, race, religion, beliefs, if you are atheist, agnostic etc. Theres a strong universal logic to it all.
Life be ever changing - donât worry about what others think of you or if you arenât where you imagined you would be at this point in your life. Observation can be beautiful. Golden Rule still sticks.
There are courses all over US and most countries/ continents. Courses are free - w/ option to donate.
Thank you @perezrrrrr for recommending this course
