I just want to say a truly heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported me throughout this marathon journey. It means more than I can put into words—not just to me, but to @izzysimpact too. Your kindness and generosity will make such a real difference to those battling melanoma.
The marathon didn’t quite go the way I’d hoped, but that’s the reality of it—it doesn’t owe you anything. What I will carry with me, though, are the moments that made it so special. Hearing hundreds of people shouting “GO IZZY” as I ran past honestly lifted me when I needed it most. And seeing and hugging Sam, Freya, and Harry at mile 25… that’s a moment I’ll never forget, one that means more than any finish time ever could.

On the 26th April I will be running the London Marathon in memory of my stepdaughter Izzy who tragically passed away from Melanoma Skin Cancer In 2023
In 2025 Izzy’s Impact was set up in her honour, a passionate and growing charity dedicated to raising awareness of melanoma and promoting its prevention through education and early detection. Izzy’s story has inspired many, and this incredible charity is working hard to make a real difference.
