On this auspicious day, I’m very happy to report that the copyright of the Queen body of work is now restored back in my possession. Truth prevailed - I was the sole artist commissioned and am now legally recognised as the sole copyright holder of the work. It’s my art and I put my heart and soul into it. After a lengthy, costly and somewhat demoralising legal process, the States of Jersey who commissioned me to create the portraiture will be making a formal statement. Alls well that ends well and I’m grateful to Jersey and the Palace. Thanks to those who stood by me as Ma’am did. I met with her in Windsor not long before she passed, on this day 3 years ago, and she told me how pleased she was that the Jersey portraits were being seen around the world during her Platinum Jubilee 🌟 #chrislevine #equanimity #lightnessofbeing #peace

PUBLICATION DAY is here!! My books INNER LIGHT and LIGHT are now released! Published by @prestel_publishing I’m proud of what we’ve created in pulling the different aspects of my career into a monograph.  It’s been a long holistic journey to this point and this is a real moment in my story where the stars are aligning.  The most exciting thing is I believe my best work is ahead of me and everything to date has been preparation for what’s coming next. Negli ultimi giorni a Venezia, un laser di livello militare è stato trasformato in uno strumento artistico da @chrislevine : "Make Light not War" portando la tecnologia oltre la funzione bellica, convertendo un raggio capace di tagliare l’acciaio in pura luce visibile. Con una frequenza di 515 nm, il fascio verde attraversa lo spazio come una presenza quasi fisica, sospesa tra precisione ingegneristica e immaginazione cosmica. Il progetto nasce dalla collaborazione con un team di ingegneri tedeschi e segna un nuovo capitolo nella ricerca artistica sul laser: non più semplice effetto luminoso, ma materia spaziale, architettura immateriale e gesto collettivo. L’opera riflette sul potere simbolico della tecnologia, ribaltandone la funzione originaria. Da strumento di controllo a esperienza percettiva, da arma a linguaggio poetico. La luce diventa così un dispositivo di connessione, capace di trasformare il cielo in uno spazio condiviso tra arte, scienza e visione futuristica

“Make light, not war.” Above Venice, a gigantic green beam of light pierces the sky: it’s Higher Power by Chris Levine, an installation created using a military-grade laser transformed into a work of art. The beam is so powerful that it genuinely makes you look up, trying to understand where it ends. During testing, it was even detected from the International Space Station, highlighting both its intensity and its physical reach far beyond the urban landscape.
