I bore the weight of cynicism and despair for the state of the world for so long in my life. I saw humans as flawed and fatal. Over the past bit, I feel as though i have had this paradigm shift. Not from some big moment, but a choice. I don’t want to be weighed down by the weight of negativity, I want my life to be filled with hope and love. And I don’t want to give up. There is far too much at stake to roll over and let evil people savor in a defeatist mindset. I want to keep the fight going in my life. I want to help build a better today and tomorrow not for myself, but for everyone.
In some ways I see street photography as an observation and meditation on the beauty of life…In all its raw moments and candid photos of people. Simply observing and participating in the world is beautiful, for no other reason than being alive. It is a gift to exist, it is a gift to have breath in my lungs.
I want to help unfuck the world, because there is some good left in this world and it’s worth fighting for.

I’ve said it before but emphatically i say it again Fuck ICE. Fuck every capitalistic white supremacist power structure this country enforces upon all. Fuck racism, fascism and all the things that have long stripped the dignity, collective power, safety and prosperity of my fellow humans, trying to exist. The type of evil that we are seeing even more manifest is not new, it’s been at the rotten roots of the country since its inception.

A year ago on January 18th I made the best decision of my life and the had biggest privilege. Making us official. Loving you has felt so natural. It’s felt like breathing. I love every part of you. I love the way your eyes light up. I could write endless sonnets and go on for days about how wonderful you are. You are light incarnate, love incarnate, joy incarnate, divinity incarnate.
