Weekends in Bangka Part 2
After lunch, we slowed things down and just enjoyed the resort—flowers, views, and beach time.
I snuck away for a quick massage while Chris and Grace had their own little beach adventure 🏖️
We met again for sunset snacks, mocktails, and coconuts by the sea (my favorite part 🥥🍹), followed by a BBQ dinner.
Ended the night at home, winding down and reading the Bible together 📖🤍
These are the days I want to remember.

Here’s why I praise the Lord.
For time spent with loved ones.

Sometimes life moves so quickly that we forget to pause and recognize how much grace surrounds us.
Today I’m choosing gratitude.
For family.
For memories.
For the quiet ways God continues to lead and provide.
Entering this Sabbath with a grateful heart.
All glory to God.
Three weeks on airplane mode.
Not just on my phone.
But in my mind.
No work running quietly in the background.
No pressure to respond.
That kind of rest doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s built through preparation.
I’m grateful for the responsibility I carry — and even more grateful for the grace that held everything together while I stepped away.

🌙🐢 Baby Sea Turtles at Murex Bangka! 🌴
A few nights ago, we had an unexpected moment of magic on the beach. A hidden nest of baby sea turtles hatched—right by our resort! Instead of heading to the ocean, the hatchlings were drawn to the lights near our restaurant. Luckily, one of our staff spotted them and we quickly gathered the tiny turtles to guide them safely to the sea.
This spontaneous turtle release was a beautiful reminder of how fragile—and incredible—life by the sea can be. 💙
