Lot of loose rock about! Not quite been damp enough yet to glue everything together! Saw some huge blocks fly off neighboring routes and there were plenty on this one ready to go!
Beautiful day on the Ben today, conditions were far from perfect with a mix of very delicate ice and thick, dry powder…was a good opportunity to practice some rusty skills however and was great to be out! 📸 @huntlouis
Climbing recently... first E5 post ankle injury and near daily climbing - mostly soloing between VS to E1 and lead rope soloing up to E2... Plans are to get on the ben ASAP and lead solo the likes of centurion, minus one and the Bat. Also hoping to get back out to Skye for some more new routing!
Conscription - E1 Solo. Finger jams into handjams and chicken wings, a few fist jams and then a steep mantle to finish. Pretty pumpy with the self belay!
